The Doomsday Dash is pleased to announce a 20% Discount on registration fees for the men and women who serve out country and communities every day. This includes all military personal (both active or retired), those in Law Enforcement as well as Emergency Medical Services. Simply complete the form below that will qualify you to receive the discount. Also remember to bring your service ID to the Doomsday Dash for verification. Please understand that if you do not take this discount honestly and cannot later prove that you qualify later upon request a $55 surcharge may be applied to your method of payment.
 

ANNOUNCING THE DOOMSDAY DASH IN TWEED ONTARIO - RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!


The End of Days are here for all Challengers in Ontario Canada. Trudeau Park in Tweed will be Hosting the First Annual Doomsday Dash this coming May Long Weekend (16-19) 2014. What makes this Event different than other Apocalypse styled Events is that it's a Full Weekend complete with onsite Camping, Concerts and so much More!!!

The mission of The Doomsday Dash is to enable you to have the most exciting day of your life – period. This event is the ultimate opportunity to push your physical and mental limits, bond with your co-workers, friends and family, and just have an all-around great time.

Pick whatever "End of the World" scenario you like but the action will be in Tweed. On  arrival the Athlete's will  immediately be Quarantined for there own good in our massive "Quarantine Zone". It features great Music by "Radiola" and Rodeo Zombie blasting over the Race Course, Coors Light Beer Gardens, Volleyball Courts, Tug of War Competitions, Rock Climbing walls and a Sea of Vendors and Products.

Race Heats will be run all day long among the Post Apocalyptic Obstacles unique to the Doomsday Dash. The Course itself is Top Secret for now but details will be breaking out soon right here! All Survivors of  the Race are welcome back to use all the services Trudeau Park is known for at the Event. Get a Post Race Massage from the Ontario Sports Massage Therapy Team. The Team will be out in full force providing both Taping for Safety and Helping the Race Survivors Relax afterward. In the Morning treat yourself to Breakfast! Its all here! Stay in the Tent City, bring your Trailer or book a Room at the Resort. The Event will be filled with great live Music and Concerts all Day Long!! Kick back and enjoy a Drink at Our Dooms Day "Bash" while we Entertain you!

The Doomsday Dash is now in the process of creating many new Partnerships to make this event the Best of its kind. So come on out be a Spectator, Participant or Survivor of the End Of Days this coming May Long Weekend 2014!

Take Hwy 401east to Belleville,
At exit 544 (Hwy 37) Follow north for 30km to Tweed,
Just South Tweed turn right on Marlbank Rd. follow for 2km,
Turn left on Stoco Rd and stay to the left, follow for 1km, you will see Trudeau Park on the Left.

FROM OTTAWA
Take Hwy 7 west to Hwy 37,
Go south on Hwy 37 for 9km,
Continue through Tweed and turn left on Marlbank Rd.
Follow Marlband Rd. for 2km,
Turn Left on Stoco Rd and stay to the left, follow for 1km, you will see Trudeau Park on the Left.

WHAT IS IT


Looking for your next Adventure? How about a Day filled with Epic Obstacles, Music and Great times? Doomsday Dash is a 5-7K Obstacle Race with Alternate Routes and Skill Challenges!

So this is whats going down! Earth has Suffered an Extinction Level Event and now you must learn to push yourself to complete challenges and concur obstacles will represent Survival Elements. It’s not a Timed Event or a Race, it’s a Challenge to get you to work together and make it to the New World! Remember there is only 200 people per heat to avoid overcrowding!

All Races are on Saturday May 17th, earliest start time is 10:30am and the latest is 3:00pm. There will be Obstacles unlike any you have ever seen before at any other Race. We will have some Standards for the Industry like Wall Climbing and Barbed Wire Crawls, but with our own twists. Then there will be many that no one has ever seen before.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
Register for the race and you'll get a chance to run the 5-7 KM alternate routes course filled with obstacles designed to push you to your Limits! Before and after you race, you'll get to hang out with Thousands of other Maniacs in the "Quarantine Zone" where you can visit our Vendors, Play Muddy Tug-O-War, Climb the Rock Wall, Swim in the Lake or just hang out and listen to the Music while enjoying some Tasty Food or Beverages.

READY FOR THE CHALLENGE? 
Our courses feature more than 20 Obstacles constructed by an experienced Crew of Doomsday Technicians. You’ll climb over Walls, Slide down Water Slides, Jump over Fire, Crawl through Tunnels of Mud and face a host of other challenges all while running through a combination of Forests and Rolling Fields. There will be no hold ups on our Course! We limit each wave of Runners to 200 Doomsday Challengers to avoid Overcrowding. In short, Doomsday Dash strikes the perfect balance between Fun and Physicality with our Action Packed Course.and Day-long Party! Plus don't forget Trudeau's Park has Camping, so why not make the most out of the Long Weekend!

HOTEL ROOMS

In brief, you should know the following about us: Trudeau Park was established in 1973 and has been responsible for providing the most exciting indoor and outdoor events in Ontario ever since. In 2007 Trudeau's Park became two separate entities. The Resort is now known as Trudeau's Resort and Banquet Hall, and the Campground is simply still known as Trudeau's Park.



Trudeau’s Resort and Event Centre is in Tweed. The resort has been newly renovated, and is known locally as the premiere wedding and banquet facility. Over the last few years we have been hosting a lot of different entertainment events. Everything from The RAM Rodeo Tour, Boat Racing Clubs, Horse and Motorcycle Club Rally's, Large Group Social Clubs and now The Doomsday Dash!
We have a large playroom for children! Enjoy staying here for a night, or spend a vacation with us. It is a great area for the outdoors all year round. Three suites, that sleep up to 8 persons.

CAMPING

CAMPING AT TRUDEAU PARK

Passes must be shown at the Camping Entrance. Do not set up your Campsite, without checking in. Please cooperate with parking attendants. We provide Rough camping only. Hydro, Water or Sewer hook-ups are not available. Camping is $25 per person. Also includes parking at your site, and is located as very close to the start and finish Lines. Campsites are on first come first serve basis. One Price of $25 whether you stay for 1 night or the weekend! Amazing Deal! Kids 10yrs and under camp Free!

For the comfort and safety of all of those attending The Doomsday Dash Weekend, please abide by the following rules:

  • Campfires are allowed, just please be responsible, Barbeques and open Grills are allowed also. 
  • Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed out of the Designated Camping Area.
  • NO GlASS 
  •  ATV's or Scooters are not allowed onsite.
  •  No cruising the Campground area in vehicles.
  • Non Approved Vendors are not allowed in campground area. 
  • Generators are allowed, in the event of noise, you may be asked to turn your Generator off. 
  •  No Loud Music after 12:00 am. 
  • No unleashed Dogs. No barking of Dogs 
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Please lock up your valuables. 
  • Please respect your Neighbor and their property. Failure to comply could find you evicted, without a refund! 
    • Please help keep the Campsite area Tidy and Clean your Campsite when leaving. 
We want everyone have a great time, and we hope to see you again for years to come! If you are camping you will need to reserve a camping site. Site size is 20 X 40 or a minimum of 800sqft. Limit 6 Person's per site. Vehicle Parking is only guaranteed on your site. This is to ensure you and your guests do have a legitimate campsite as space is limited. Save you time and gas money traveling to mark/rope off a site. To ensure accountability of the campsite. That means no mess, no rule breaking and respect your neighbours. Remember, the site is in your name! We will contact you with your site number after purchase.
